Women in STEAM | 3:15 pm - 4:00 pm
For women in STEM, representation and visibility remain primary goals. While we see more women in STEM fields, women are still underrepresented in academic and professional levels. To attract more women to careers in STEM, women must see women in roles of influence. This effort requires support systems in universities and career services, in addition to internships and job opportunities. Women entering STEM fields need access to mentors to counter imposter syndrome and to foster networking opportunities for career growth. Whether you are currently in a STEM-related field or considering a career in STEM, our panelists are here to offer guidance on navigating such pursuits.
