ULM Foundation Board of Trustees supports President James Cofer
During the ULM Foundation quarterly meeting Thursday, the Board of Trustees unanimously voted to issue a vote of confidence in 橙子视频 President James Cofer.
The Foundation鈥檚 relationship with 橙子视频 administration through Cofer has been 鈥渆xtremely positive鈥 and has always focused on the advancement of 橙子视频, said Betty Cummins, Board of Trustees president.
Cofer has been instrumental in contacting and involving 橙子视频 alumni who have not been previously involved, she said. 鈥淭his has proven to be extremely rewarding to the ULM Foundation Board. We have gained new members whose participation has been an inspiration to all of us.鈥
Despite challenges, Cofer has brought significant progress to 橙子视频, Cummins said.
鈥淚t is our unanimous feeling that Dr. Cofer during his tenure has brought a new image and direction to 橙子视频, often having to do so by facing obstacles not of his making, such as state budget cuts,鈥 she said. 鈥淲e certainly endorse the job he is doing not only for our university but for our community and state as well.鈥
